Expressions of Art and Hope

Program Description

Expressions of Art and Hope is a series of free art classes for cancer patients and survivors. These art classes are a collaboration of CHI St. Elizabeth and the LUX Center for the Arts.

Masks will be required for all classes until further notice – so please plan for that. Also, our classrooms are too small to have our normal 12 students in class while being physically distant so we are offering two nights each month with the same project and a maximum of 6 students per class.

Foil Art & Collage Cards: Using copper and silver colored foil we will create unique textured art pieces that will be mounted to cards. This technique is sometimes referred to as tooling, embossing, or tin art, and has its roots in Mexican folk art.
