Program Description

Explore your voice through creative expression! Expressions of Art and Hope is a series of free art classes for individuals living with and beyond cancer. These classes are usually held the second Monday of each month in collaboration with CHI St. Elizabeth and the LUX Center for the Arts. All participants must register individually. Classes take place at the LUX Center for the Arts from 6:00-8:00pm.

In this workshop participants will learn the traditional craft of the Japanese stab binding. This bookbinding technique has roots in China and Japan, and is known for its elegance and durability. It was used for centuries to bind books, manuscripts, and various documents.
