Expressions of Art + Hope: Relief Printmaking

Expressions of Art + Hope: Relief Printmaking

Program Description

Explore your voice through creative expression! Expressions of Art and Hope is a series of free art classes for individuals living with and beyond cancer. All participants must register individually. Classes take place at the LUX Center for the Arts.

Masks will be required for all classes until further notice. Also, our classrooms are too small to have our normal 12 students in class while being physically distant so we are offering two sessions each month with the same project and a maximum of 6 students per class – every 2nd and 4th Monday evening of the month.

Make your own prints and cards! Participants will each carve a soft rubber plate to create their own image. Ink is then rolled out and applied to the plate then transferred to the paper of your choice.
