Drawing inspiration from the Lincoln Modern Quilt Guild exhibition, "Maximalism," LUX Exhibition Specialist Emily Palmer will lead participants in a quilt inspired collage project.  In this workshop, participants will design and create 9x9” quilt blocks by cutting out patterns on scrap paper and assembling them on poster board.  A selection of traditional quilt block patterns will be provided for participants to choose from, along with the historical context for each design. For those feeling particularly creative, they have the option to design their own unique patterns. All materials will be provided.
