Program Description
Block printing is a relief printing technique that uses a carved material to transfer ink onto fabric or paper. In this three-week class, Artist-in-Residence Patrick Casey will teach how to draw or transfer an image onto a linoleum block, carve the block, and then print it. A great introduction to printmaking if you would like to explore a new medium!
Basic materials are provided for this class; you may bring additional paper and/or fabric for printing. This class is for students 16+.
