Students can express themselves creatively while learning about different painting, drawing and printmaking techniques and styles each week. Students will make their own paintings, drawings and prints inspired by a variety of themes and art historical movements while learning basic techniques unique to these mediums. 

**This class can be repeated. Lessons change from session to session and experienced students are allowed to work more independently, exploring materials and techniques. 

Grade K-2.

We ask that parents/guardians do not stay in the classroom during class. This can create a difficult dynamic for instructors and students. You can feel safe knowing that all staff and volunteers that work with children at LUX must go through a background check. If your child has some separation anxiety on the first day you are welcome to stay a few extra minutes.
