This six-week class is intended for students who already have basic throwing skills (centering and throwing a cylinder) who are wanting to dial in their skills and learn to throw and alter what they have made. 

One 25 lb bag of clay is included in tuition. Students can choose earthenware, stoneware, or porcelain – all types have their own benefits and challenges.  This class will throw and alter forms each week and the final class will be dedicated to finishing techniques. 

Students also have access to the studio during open hours throughout this six-week class.
