Scratchboard is a form of direct engraving where the artist uses sharp knives and tools to scratch off dark ink to reveal a white or colored layer beneath. Scratchboard can be used to yield highly detailed, precise and evenly textured artwork. In this workshop, participants will learn scratchboard techniques, such as drawing, scratching, and cross-hatching.

NOTE: An art class or workshop running is contingent on a minimum of 3 participants enrolled 48 hours prior to the scheduled class/workshop. Cancellation notices will be emailed, and you may respond with an alternate class/workshop choice or request a refund. You are encouraged to invite a friend to ensure that your class/workshop runs!
