The first UNL x UARK Exchange Exhibition encourages dialogue and creates ties among emerging artists between the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the University of Arkansas graduate students. The work will be on display simultaneously, here at the LUX's East Gallery in Lincoln, NE, and the other at sUgAR Gallery in Fayetteville, AR. Through this trade of artwork and ideas we hope to highlight different makers in close proximity to one another, while emphasizing the distinct styles and studio practices between each program. We look forward to future collaboration as we establish a platform for dialogue and connection so that the development of contemporary art at UNL and UARK will become more vigorous.
