LUX Center for the Arts is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.  The mission of LUX Center for the Arts is to enhance the lives of a diverse public through the visual arts by providing exceptional learning opportunities in contemporary art, craft, and design. These opportunities, honoring the legacy of arts educator Gladys M. Lux, include art classes, residency programs, gallery exhibitions, and community outreach.

VOLUNTEER AT THE LUX
Get involved! Applications always accepted. 


INTERNSHIPS
Internships are offered each semester and over the summer. Currently accepting application for Fall internships. The summer application has closed. Fall applications are due by August 6, 2021.


ARTIST IN RESIDENCE 
Teaching positions with private studio space, stipend, and exhibition opportunities. The initial application deadline was April 8 but we will be considering and accepting applications up until May 1, 2021. 


ARTIST FELLOWSHIP
Volunteer hours in exchange for studio access. Applications always accepted. 


CERAMIC STUDIO & KILN FIRING INFORMATION
Details on the cost to fire our kilns and use the studios in our Ceramics Center.
