Kids Storybook Camp: Dino Explorers
Kids Storybook Camp: Dino Explorers
Roar into creativity! Inspired by the storytelling magic of Jan Yolen, this camp invites kids, age 5–8, to explore the world of dinosaurs through drawing, painting, and imaginative storytelling. Campers will bring their favorite prehistoric creatures to life—mighty T-Rexes, gentle Brachiosaurus, speedy Velociraptors, and more! Each day, children will bring their favorite prehistoric creatures to life using techniques like painting, drawing, collaging, and sculpting with papier-mâché. Along the way, they’ll learn about texture, color, and creative expression while developing confidence in their artistic abilities. All materials provided.
LUX camps are offered for kindergarten graduates through students who are 15 years old. All campers must have completed kindergarten (no exceptions) prior to attending camp and must have basic classroom skills. Students must be at least 9 years old to learn the pottery wheel and age 10 is even better, as the person throwing must be physically large enough to push the clay around. Please select camps based on your child's current age. Kids - Age 5-8 (must have completed Kindergarten), Youth - Age 9-11, and Teens - Age 12-15.
