This pottery wheel class for teens, age 12-15, teaches the fundamentals of starting a project on the wheel, focusing on the essential first steps. Over the course of the week, students will learn more advanced throwing and finishing techniques. This camp is open to both beginners and experienced students, with the opportunity for more advanced students to explore their own ideas with instructor guidance. All materials provided.

LUX camps are offered for kindergarten graduates through students who are 15 years old. All campers must have completed kindergarten (no exceptions) prior to attending camp and must have basic classroom skills. Students must be at least 9 years old to learn the pottery wheel and age 10 is even better, as the person throwing must be physically large enough to push the clay around. Please select camps based on your child's current age. Kids - Age 5-8 (must have completed Kindergarten), Youth - Age 9-11, and Teens - Age 12-15.
