Youth Posters and Prints Camp
Youth Posters and Prints Camp
Youth, age 9–11, will have a blast exploring the world of printmaking and mixed media in this creative, hands-on camp! Students will look at the work of contemporary artists and learn fun block-printing, stamping, and stencil techniques to create bold designs on paper. They’ll experiment with combining prints, drawing, collage, and color to make unique posters, patterned artwork, and mixed-media creations. All materials are provided, and campers are welcome to bring additional items from home or the thrift store to decorate with their prints. This camp is perfect for young artists who love experimenting with different materials and making vibrant, expressive art.
LUX camps are offered for kindergarten graduates through students who are 15 years old. All campers must have completed kindergarten (no exceptions) prior to attending camp and must have basic classroom skills. Students must be at least 9 years old to learn the pottery wheel and age 10 is even better, as the person throwing must be physically large enough to push the clay around. Please select camps based on your child's current age. Kids - Age 5-8 (must have completed Kindergarten), Youth - Age 9-11, and Teens - Age 12-15.
