This pottery wheel class for youth, age 9-11, teaches the basics of starting a project on the wheel, focusing on essential foundational skills. Over the course of the week, students will learn more advanced throwing and finishing techniques. Both beginners and experienced students are welcome, with experienced students having the opportunity to work on personalized projects under instructor guidance. All materials provided.

LUX camps are offered for kindergarten graduates through students who are 15 years old. All campers must have completed kindergarten (no exceptions) prior to attending camp and must have basic classroom skills. Students must be at least 9 years old to learn the pottery wheel and age 10 is even better, as the person throwing must be physically large enough to push the clay around. Please select camps based on your child's current age. Kids - Age 5-8 (must have completed Kindergarten), Youth - Age 9-11, and Teens - Age 12-15.
