This pottery wheel camp for youth and teens, age 9–15, introduces the fundamentals of working on the wheel, guiding students through the essential first steps of starting a project. The camp welcomes beginners who are new to the wheel, as well as more experienced students who want to explore their own ideas with guidance from the instructor. This hands-on, creative experience is perfect for young artists looking to develop their pottery skills and have fun with clay! All materials provided.

LUX camps are offered for kindergarten graduates through students who are 15 years old. All campers must have completed kindergarten (no exceptions) prior to attending camp and must have basic classroom skills. Students must be at least 9 years old to learn the pottery wheel and age 10 is even better, as the person throwing must be physically large enough to push the clay around. Please select camps based on your child's current age. Kids - Age 5-8 (must have completed Kindergarten), Youth - Age 9-11, and Teens - Age 12-15.
