Kids Art from the Start: Stamps and Stencils
This camp is for kids, age 5–8, and invites young artists to explore the exciting world of printmaking and pattern! Campers will use a variety of stamps, stencils, transfer plates, and block printing to create one-of-a-kind artworks. Students will experiment with painting, drawing, food printing, and trace monotype techniques while discovering texture, pattern, and layering in fun and playful ways. The possibilities are endless, and creativity is encouraged at every step! Perfect for curious young artists ready to explore, experiment, and have fun with prints and patterns! All materials provided.
LUX camps are offered for kindergarten graduates through students who are 15 years old. All campers must have completed kindergarten (no exceptions) prior to attending camp and must have basic classroom skills. Students must be at least 9 years old to learn the pottery wheel and age 10 is even better, as the person throwing must be physically large enough to push the clay around. Please select camps based on your child's current age. Kids - Age 5-8 (must have completed Kindergarten), Youth - Age 9-11, and Teens - Age 12-15.
Pre-registration required.
Pick up begins at 4:25 pm.
