Youth Pulp, Paper and Paint Camp
Youth Pulp, Paper and Paint Camp
This camp invites young artists, age 9–11, to explore the creative world of handmade paper and mixed-media art. Throughout the week, students will discover how paper is made, experiment with colorful pulp, and create unique sheets using recycled materials, natural textures, and marbling techniques. They’ll use their handmade papers as a canvas for drawing and painting, collaborate on group projects, and learn how materials can be transformed through artmaking. By the end of the camp, each student will take home a one-of-a-kind sketchbook filled with their own handcrafted pages and artwork—a vibrant celebration of creativity, curiosity, and hands-on experimentation. All materials provided.
LUX camps are offered for kindergarten graduates through students who are 15 years old. All campers must have completed kindergarten (no exceptions) prior to attending camp and must have basic classroom skills.
