Jeremy Johnson is a Nebraska-based artist who uses found objects from nature to create fine art, craft and wearable items.   Johnson is particularly interested in natural elements  (rocks, crystals, bones, insects and wood)  - using the natural curvilinear shapes and designs of these objects as the basis for each hand-made item he creates. 

Jeremy Johnson uses brass, copper and other metals—forging them around rocks and stones and often using a lost-wax method for creating insect shapes.   Unlike many jewelry designers who focus primarily on the pendant—then using a commercial chain—Johnson pays attention to every aspect of his necklaces.  Every element of his wearable art pieces is made by him.   The chains that are designed for each necklace are made specifically for each piece.
