Jon Love
Jon Love is originally from Norfolk, Nebraska, received his BFA from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2012, and recently completed his Master’s degree from the Herron School of Art and Design in Indianapolis, Indiana. He makes drawings, paintings, videos, and websites about the ways digital culture affects the contemporary human experience – about what it feels like to live both on and offline simultaneously. Jon likes David Foster Wallace, Kanye West, and good pizza. If you were to ask him about it, he would describe his work as being “pretty good,” and would hope you’d think so too.
Questions to ask yourself at Literally Incredible:
What does a labor-intensive artwork mean when it is only seen as digital documentation?
How do viral images impact their environments to create real effects?
What does Donald Trump have to do with all this?
Literally Incredible is an art exhibition about how digital technologies are affecting all of culture.
