Advanced Pottery Wheel: Tea and coffee Vessels
Advanced Pottery Wheel: Tea and coffee Vessels
In this class, students will explore wheel-throwing through a tea and coffee theme using stoneware. Demonstrations will cover a variety of forms—including tea and coffee sets, cream and sugar vessels, teacups and saucers, pour-overs, espresso and cappuccino cups, and more. We’ll also dive into design principles such as proportion, form, curvilinear lines, and overall volume.
Whether you're looking to refine your skills or explore new shapes and ideas, this course offers the perfect balance of technical challenge and creative inspiration.
Students also have access to the studio during open hours throughout this six-week class. Please refer to the Open Studio Calendar in the Ceramics Center for the most up-to-date hours. This class is for Adults 16+.
