Art for Fundraising and Social Change
Art for Fundraising and Social Change
In this 4-week course, students will work together to create artwork that can be used to raise funds for a cause of their choice. Throughout, students will learn different methods of creating designs that share their unique voices and help to create meaningful change in their community through the creation of linocut prints, zines/books, postcards, and stickers. The class will culminate with a First Friday show on November 7th in the Education Wing at LUX where students will be able to display their art made in the class and raise donations for the charity of their choice. All skill levels are welcome. This class is for Adults 16+.
Pre-registration is required.
NOTE: An art class or workshop running is contingent on a minimum of 3 participants enrolled 48 hours prior to the scheduled class/workshop.
