Biography

Emeritus Professor, University of Nebraska, College of Architecture. I began working with ceramics as an undergraduate student. Upon graduation from Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo, I continued studying ceramics in the evening with Ernie Kim at the Richmond Art Center while working as an architect in the San Francisco Bay Area. When I moved to take a job in Boston, life got in the way and it was thirty-plus years before I returned to ceramics. In the past few years, I have worked with professors of ceramics, including Pete Pinnell and Eddie Dominguez, at the University of Nebraska. Most recently, I had a piece in the Being Human pop-up exhibition (4/2017), one in the Lux Center Auction (5/2018), three in the Lux Center Holiday Art Bash (11-12/2018), and two in the Bone Creek Museum of Agrarian Art (2-4/2019).
