My current work of abstracts explores the nature of memory, expression and what we choose to share vs. what we keep private. Abstraction allows for that in-between space where sharing and revealing can be negotiated through the blurring of representational elements. I specifically choose the collagraph printmaking process as means to engage with the tactile experience that goes along with creating a hand-made relief surface.
