This exhibition features sculpture created by students in Nathan Murray’s Clay Sculpture class at Lux Center for the Arts.

Throughout the class, students explore the possibilities of clay through hands-on study of form, proportion, anatomy, texture, and surface. Each artist brings their own interests, experiences, and perspective to the material, creating a diverse collection of work shaped by individual ideas and a shared process of making.

The class is also a community of ideas, where artists learn from one another, exchange perspectives, experiment together, and develop their work through conversation and observation. This exhibition celebrates not only the finished sculptures, but the ongoing process of learning, discovery, and creative exchange that happens within the studio.
