Handbuilding Foundations
Learn the foundational techniques of handbuilding with clay in this 3-week course taught by Artist-In-Residence David Kruk. Students will learn a variety of clay working methods including coiling, pinching, slab construction, and utilizing molds in order to create both functional and sculptural work. Participants will have the opportunity to explore different surface design techniques and have the option to glaze their work. All materials and kiln firings included. This class is for Adults 16+. No experience necessary.

NOTE: An art class or workshop running is contingent on a minimum of 3 participants being enrolled 48 hours prior to the scheduled class/workshop. Cancellation notices will be emailed, and you may respond with an alternate class/workshop choice or request a refund. You’re encouraged to invite a friend to ensure that your class/workshop runs.
