Youth Handbuilding with Clay Camp: Fairytales
Youth Handbuilding with Clay Camp: Fairytales
Step into a world of imagination in this whimsical clay camp for youth, age 9–11! Students will learn and practice handbuilding techniques such as coiling, slab building, and pinching as they design and sculpt creations inspired by classic fairytales and magical worlds.
Campers might build enchanted castles, fairy cottages, dragon lairs, magical creatures, or storybook-inspired sculptures—all brought to life through their creativity and craftsmanship. This camp is perfect for young artists who love storytelling and want to transform their ideas into three-dimensional works of art. All materials, tools, glazes, and kiln firings provided.
LUX camps are offered for kindergarten graduates through students who are 15 years old. All campers must have completed kindergarten (no exceptions) prior to attending camp and must have basic classroom skills. Students must be at least 9 years old to learn the pottery wheel and age 10 is even better, as the person throwing must be physically large enough to push the clay around. Please select camps based on your child's current age. Kids - Age 5-8 (must have completed Kindergarten), Youth - Age 9-11, and Teens - Age 12-15.
