Youth Handbuilding Camp: Home Sweet Home
"Home Sweet Home" is a camp for youth, age 9-11, where students will learn and practice handbuilding skills as they design and handbuild homes and buildings, whether real or imaginary. Projects may include creating fairy or gnome homes, birdhouses, castles, cabins, or miniature replicas of their own homes! All materials, tools, and firing provided.
LUX camps are offered for kindergarten graduates through students who are 15 years old. All campers must have completed kindergarten (no exceptions) prior to attending camp and must have basic classroom skills. Students must be at least 9 years old to learn the pottery wheel and age 10 is even better, as the person throwing must be physically large enough to push the clay around. Please select camps based on your child's current age. Kids - Age 5-8 (must have completed Kindergarten), Youth - Age 9-11, and Teens - Age 12-15.
Pre-registration required.
Pick up begins at 11:55 am.
