Kids Handbuilt Storybook camp: Under the Sea
Kids Handbuilt Storybook camp: Under the Sea
Dive into a world of creativity! This handbuilding camp offers young artists a fun, hands-on introduction to clay through storytelling. Inspired by Marcus Pfister's Rainbow Fish series, campers will learn basic handbuilding techniques while creating under-the-sea-themed projects. Students will craft colorful clay fish, wiggly jellyfish wind chimes, playful sea slugs, turtle dishes, coral reef sculptures, and more—sparking imagination and artistic confidence in every little artist! All materials provided.
LUX camps are offered for kindergarten graduates through students who are 15 years old. All campers must have completed kindergarten (no exceptions) prior to attending camp and must have basic classroom skills. Students must be at least 9 years old to learn the pottery wheel and age 10 is even better, as the person throwing must be physically large enough to push the clay around. Please select camps based on your child's current age. Kids - Age 5-8 (must have completed Kindergarten), Youth - Age 9-11, and Teens - Age 12-15.
