Kids Storybook Handbuilding Camp: Wild Things!
Kids Storybook Handbuilding Camp: Wild Things!
Inspired by Maurice Sendak's Where the Wild Things Are, this camp invites kids ages 5-8 to explore basic hand-building techniques in pottery. They will create their own wild creatures using methods like slabs, coils, and pinching, bringing their imaginative "wild things" to life through clay. All materials, tools, and firing are provided. Participants should wear clothes that can get messy. Projects will be available for pickup at the LUX building about two weeks after the camp ends.
This camp is for Kids ages 5-8. Pre-registration is required.
Visit LUXcenter.org/camps for full details on camp policies, including our cancellation policy.
