Youth Handbuilding Camp: It's a Wild, Wild World!
Youth Handbuilding Camp: It's a Wild, Wild World!
This camp focuses on animals and nature, teaching students basic hand-building techniques like slabs, coils, and pinching to create artwork inspired by these themes. Youth ages 9-11 can choose from various plants, animals, and nature subjects for their sculptural or functional projects. More experienced participants can work independently. All materials, tools, and firing are provided, and students should wear clothes that can get messy. Projects will be ready for pickup at the LUX main building about two weeks after the camp ends.
This camp is for Youth ages 9-11. Pre-registration is required.
