Gomez is an artist and small business owner of Gomez Art Supply in Lincoln.  She received her BFA from the University of Nebraska Lincoln, and her MFA from the University of Minnesota.   Her business hosts the Tugboat Gallery with a collaborative team of curators.  This venue has an active presence in the local art scene featuring and supporting numerous emerging and established artists, Peggy received the UNL Alumni Achievement in Art Award from UNL in 2010.
