“In the late 1960’s I developed an interest in visual perception. How we see and how confirmation bias contributes to the way we see and perceive the world, informs the photographs I make. As I investigate my little world I am fascinated by artifice and irony and the enigmatic way that photographs convey meaning and pose questions. I am attempting to make images that reflect how I see – my personal point of view. My intent is to be visually alert but I often recognize what I’m missing. It’s a constant process of working at being attentive – to be always looking – to be always investigating.”
