Dive into a colorful underwater adventure! This camp for kids, age 5–8, introduces young artists to painting and drawing through storytelling. Inspired by Marcus Pfister's Rainbow Fish series, kids will bring the ocean to life with their creativity. Campers will paint shimmering fish, create wiggly jellyfish, design playful sea slugs, illustrate turtle friends, and imagine vibrant coral reefs—exploring colors, shapes, and textures while building confidence and artistic skills. Kids age 5–8 will explore the exciting world of air and space transportation while learning and practicing the elements and principles of art and design. Campers will study planes, hot air balloons, rockets, and spaceships, experimenting with both 2D and 3D art styles. Using tools like magnifiers and viewfinders (small cardboard frames with a hole to focus on details), students will observe shapes, lines, and textures from new perspectives. They will then bring their discoveries to life through painting, drawing, printing, collage, and even simple 3D constructions.
This camp is for kids, age 5–8, and invites young artists to explore the exciting world of printmaking and pattern! Campers will use a variety of stamps, stencils, transfer plates, and block printing to create one-of-a-kind artworks. Students will experiment with painting, drawing, food printing, and trace monotype techniques while discovering texture, pattern, and layering in fun and playful ways. This camp is for students age 9–11 and encourages them to think outside the box by connecting Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics! In this hands-on camp, students will explore a variety of art mediums while integrating creative techniques and problem-solving processes into their projects. Campers may build bridges, make and bind their own sketchbooks, print with potatoes, experiment with 3D pens, emboss foil, create marbled paper, and discover how art connects with STEAM in fun and exciting ways.
This camp is for youth, age 9–11, and is a vibrant, hands-on exploration of color, texture, and creative expression! Campers will experiment with painting and drawing using a variety of media, including watercolors, acrylics, colored pencils, pastels, and chalk. Students will explore techniques such as layering, blending, mark-making, and collage to create bold, colorful compositions inspired by their imagination and the world around them. This camp encourages experimentation, confidence, and playful discovery while helping young artists develop their personal style.

This art camp for kids, age 5–8, combines storytelling and creativity, inspired by the colorful world of Eric Carle. Campers will explore beloved books like The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?, then create their own storybook art using printmaking and collage techniques. Students will experiment with color, texture, and pattern through hands-on activities such as monoprinting, stamping, and painting on paper. They’ll then use their printed papers to cut, layer, and collage unique illustrations—just like Eric Carle!

A fun and exciting way for young artists to experiment with a variety of materials while discovering the styles of famous artists throughout history. Each day, students will explore a different artist—such as Van Gogh, Picasso, Kahlo, or Monet—and learn new techniques inspired by their unique approaches to color, composition, and creativity. Campers will then apply what they’ve learned to create their own original masterpieces in a range of media.

In this workshop, Artist in Residence Alex Renbarger will help you transform a space of your choosing into an isometric drawing- a perspectival drawing method that allows all objects to rest consistently on the same angle.
