Learn the basics of needle felting by creating a unique landscape artwork. Artist in Residence Alex Renbarger will walk you through the step-by-step process of creating a simple landscape, including laying out your materials, blending colors, and exploring the often-underrated power of layering. You can follow along or freestyle as you go. No experience necessary. All materials are provided. This Class is for students age 16+
This drawing course guides students on how to draw human and pet portraits. The class will demystify common struggles experienced in drawing loved ones, both human and animal: how to draw teeth? Why does it look flat when I draw hair? How do you draw certain facial features?

In this fun and hands-on camp for kids, age 5–8, students will explore the exciting world of printmaking and mark-making! Campers will create their own stamps and experiment with a variety of techniques, including styrofoam printing, potato prints, collagraphs, cyanotype, and Gelli printing. Using a range of materials, young artists will discover how different textures, patterns, and tools can transform their artwork. This camp encourages creativity, experimentation, and confidence in artistic expression. Perfect for beginners and budding printmakers alike! All materials provided.
This camp is for age 5–8 and invites young artists to step into the world of stories and bring characters to life through puppet-making! Each day, children will explore a different storybook theme and create their own cast of characters using painting, drawing, printing, and collaging. Campers will design a variety of puppets—like finger puppets, popsicle puppets, bag puppets, and glove puppets—while learning the basics of storytelling, character expression, and creative design.
This camp for youth, age 9–11, introduces the elements and principles of art and design through exciting, hands-on exploration. Throughout the week, students will create 3D sculptures, mobiles, and a variety of mixed-media projects while experimenting with building, sculpting, assembling, painting, drawing, printing, and collaging. With all materials provided, campers can dive into creativity, discover new techniques, and bring their imaginative ideas to life in a fun and supportive environment.
