Join our Teaching Artist for a fun night of painting flowers and floral designs using watercolor paints!  This workshop is for adults 16+.

Grab your family and friends and join us for a fun afternoon of hands-on artmaking! You are guided through the basics of creating a fused glass object by one of our talented teaching artists. For youth, an adult must participate in the workshop – the tuition fee covers one individual and you must register for each adult and child attending. Glass projects will be ready two weeks from the class date.

In this class, teens will develop observational and sketching skills by drawing still life arrangements. Using diverse drawing materials and tools, this course introduces different technical methods to depict objects through shape, texture, volume, and proportion.  All materials will be provided. Join us on Saturday mornings for our 2-D with a Cup of Tea series, where participants will be exposed to a wide variety of 2-D mediums and techniques while enjoying a selection of hot tea and a fresh pot of coffee from Mo Java Café!

This class will cover traditional beginning drawing techniques including sighting and measuring, methods for finding accurate angles and proportions, value and other drawing exploration. All materials, tea and coffee are provided. This class is for adults aged 16+.

In this class, participants will experiment with various ways to create illustrations and explore a variety of methods to build narrative within their drawings and paintings.  All materials will be provided.  This class is for adults 16+.

Students will experiment with image transfer, painting, printmaking, and drawing while they explore texture, pattern, and layering – the possibilities are endless!  Please wear older clothes and shoes as they may get messy or stained. All materials will be provided. This class is for teens age 12-15.

This class will introduce beginning students to the fundamentals of painting with acrylic paints and allow more advanced students time to hone their skills. All paints and materials provided.  This class is for adults 16+.

Scratchboard is a form of direct engraving where the artist uses sharp knives and tools to scratch off dark ink to reveal a white or colored layer beneath. Scratchboard can be used to yield highly detailed, precise and evenly textured artwork.  In this workshop, participants will learn scratchboard techniques, such as drawing, scratching, and cross-hatching. For youth 15 years and younger, an adult must participate in the workshop – the registration fee covers one individual, and you must register for each adult and child/youth attending.

This family workshop will introduce parents and youth to the fundamentals of painting landscapes with acrylic paints, while allowing more advanced students an opportunity to hone their skills. All paints and materials provided. This workshop is appropriate for ages 5+. For youth, an adult must participate in the workshop. The tuition fee covers one individual, so you must register each adult and child attending.
