Youth Characters and Cartoons: Comic Book Creations Camp
This drawing camp for youth, age 9–11, introduces the exciting world of character and cartoon design, focusing on essential drawing and illustration skills. Over the course of the week, students will learn how to develop expressive characters, explore storytelling through poses and facial expressions, and bring their ideas to life using a variety of drawing techniques. All materials provided.
LUX camps are offered for kindergarten graduates through students who are 15 years old. All campers must have completed kindergarten (no exceptions) prior to attending camp and must have basic classroom skills. Students must be at least 9 years old to learn the pottery wheel and age 10 is even better, as the person throwing must be physically large enough to push the clay around. Please select camps based on your child's current age. Kids - Age 5-8 (must have completed Kindergarten), Youth - Age 9-11, and Teens - Age 12-15.
Pre-registration required.
Pick up begins at 11:55 am.
