Looking for a creative night out? Gather your family, friends, or date and dive into the colorful world of fused glass! Our expert teaching artists will lead you through the process of designing and creating a unique ornament or small glass piece—no experience needed.
Youth must attend with an adult. Tuition is per person; be sure to register each participant. Your completed glass artwork will be available for pickup two weeks after class.
Join us on Saturday mornings for our 2-D with a Cup of Tea series, where participants will be exposed to a wide variety of 2-D mediums and techniques. This class will introduce beginning students to the fundamentals of painting with oil paints, with a focus on technique and color mixing. More advanced students will have time to hone their skills. All paints and materials provided. Students are invited to bring reference photos. All materials are provided. Participants are encouraged to bring a non-alcoholic beverage. This class is for adults 16+.
Kids ages 5–8 will enjoy exploring the wonders of nature through a variety of painting techniques and artistic styles! Each day, they’ll create projects inspired by plants, animals, and outdoor landscapes using acrylics, watercolors, and oil pastels. Along the way, young artists will learn essential skills like color mixing, brushwork, and drawing, all while discovering the beauty and inspiration found in the natural world. Experienced students are welcome to join us and continue to improve their skills. All materials provided.
This drawing camp, for youth ages 9–11, introduces the exciting world of character and cartoon design, focusing on essential drawing and illustration skills. Over the course of the week, students will learn how to develop expressive characters, explore storytelling through poses and facial expressions, and bring their ideas to life using a variety of drawing techniques. Experienced students are welcome to join us and continue to improve their skills. All materials provided.
In this workshop with Artist-in-Residence Stacy Larson, participants will use Argentium silver (highly tarnish-resistant, hypoallergenic, brighter and stronger than sterling) and learn to design and create their own earrings! The workshop will cover basic fabrication methods and how to shape, file, sand, and texture your pieces. Participants will leave with a couple of pairs of earrings ready to wear. Grab your family or friends or come on your own and join us for a fun evening of hands-on fall themed artmaking! You are guided through the basics of creating a fused glass object by one of our talented teaching artists. For youth under age 12, an adult must participate in the workshop.
