En plein air is a French expression meaning “in the open air,” and refers to the act of painting outdoors with the artist's subject in full view. In this weekly drop-in workshop, participants will be introduced to landscape drawing and flora/fauna drawing en plain air using various pens, brush pens, graphite pencils, etc.
In this 4-week class students will experience the huge versatility that gouache has to offer- from transparent washes to completely opaque blocks of color. Students will have the opportunity to use both traditional gouache and acrylic gouache and learn the benefits of each material. Students will create 1-2 paintings in this course. Please bring a reference image if desired. All materials are provided. This class is for Adults 16+.
In this 6-week class, students will learn to create their own porcelain ceramic jewelry. Basic decorating techniques will be explored including texturing, stamping, water-etching, resists, stencils, slip-trailing, stone-setting in clay, lusters, and decals. Students will leave with finished wearable porcelain jewelry including, but not limited to necklaces and earrings. This class is for Adults 16+.
Youth ages 9-11 will have a blast learning about different artists, painting techniques and styles each day! Projects will include paintings using acrylic paint, watercolors, and oil pastels and students will learn basic paint mixing, drawing, and brushwork techniques. All materials are provided.

This art camp for Kids ages 5-8 offers a fun, creative introduction to art through storytelling. Students will read classic Eric Carle books like The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?, then engage in various art activities inspired by the stories. Students will learn how to use the technique of layering along with colored pencils, paint, ink, and more to create original textures they can collage to make pictures and illustrations.

This camp is designed for beginners to learn the basics of crochet, a needle craft that involves using a single crochet hook to create textiles by interweaving loops of yarn, thread, or other materials. Whether picking up needles for the first time or looking to refresh your skills, this camp will guide Teens ages 12-15 through the essentials to set you on the path towards creating your own beautiful pieces. Projects may include coasters, doilies, dishcloths, flowers, and wall hangings. All materials provided.
In this camp, Youth ages 9-11 will design and build a sculptures and mobiles using paper mache clay. Students will learn to build an armature, mix and apply clay, and finish their artwork with painting. All materials are provided.
