En plein air is a French expression meaning “in the open air,” and refers to the act of painting/drawing outdoors with the artist's subject in full view. In this drop-in class, participants will be introduced to landscape drawing and flora/fauna drawing en plain air.  LUX Teaching Artist Tom Meyers will be present to host the sessions and assist participants as needed.

Participants will meet at location TBD  Please bring a folding chair and any desired drawing materials.  Drawing boards and easels will be available as desired.

Pre-registration is recommended. Drop-in participants welcome. $20 per person per session.  This class is for adults 16+.
