Afternoon Spring Break Camp Youth Art Sampler: Exploring Famous Artist
Afternoon Spring Break Camp Youth Art Sampler: Exploring Famous Artist
Painting, drawing, mixed media, and more! This camp is for ages 9-11. A fun and exciting way for young artists to experiment with a variety of materials while discovering the styles of famous artists throughout history. Each day, students will explore a different artist—such as Van Gogh, Picasso, Kahlo, or Monet—and learn new techniques inspired by their unique approaches to color, composition, and creativity. Campers will then apply what they’ve learned to create their own original masterpieces in a range of media. Perfect for the curious beginner or budding artist eager to try a little bit of everything! All materials are provided. Experienced students are welcome to join us and continue to improve their skills. All materials provided.
Note: LUX camps are offered for kindergarten graduates through students who are 15 years old. All campers must have completed kindergarten (no exceptions) prior to attending camp and must have basic classroom skills. Students must be at least 9 years old to learn the pottery wheel, and age 10 is even better, as the person throwing must be physically large enough to push the clay around. Please select camps based on your child's current age. Kids - Age 5-8 (must have completed Kindergarten), Youth - Age 9-11, and Teens - Age 12-15.
