Program Description

Join our Beginning Metalsmithing 2 class and learn how to transform raw metal into beautiful, wearable pieces! Using copper, brass, and sterling silver, you’ll explore the foundations of metalsmithing in a hands-on, beginner-friendly environment. In this class, you'll learn basic skills including how to saw, file, shape, solder, pierce, texture, and finish your designs. By the end, you’ll leave with several finished jewelry pieces you can wear. All materials included. This workshop is open to adults ages 16+

Beginning Metalsmithing 1 recommended, but not required.

Pre-registration is required.

NOTE: An art class or workshop running is contingent on a minimum of 3 participants being enrolled 48 hours prior to the scheduled class/workshop. Cancellation notices will be emailed, and you may respond with an alternate class/workshop choice or request a refund. You’re encouraged to invite a friend to ensure that your class/workshop runs.
