This pottery wheel class, for Youth ages 9-11, teaches the basics of starting a project on the wheel, focusing on essential foundational skills. Over the course of the week, students will learn more advanced throwing and finishing techniques. Both beginners and experienced students are welcome, with experienced students having the opportunity to work on personalized projects under instructor guidance. All materials, tools, and firing are provided. Projects will be available for pick up at the main LUX building approximately 2 weeks after the last day of camp. All materials, tools, and firing are provided. Participants should wear clothes that can get messy. Projects will be available for pickup at the LUX building about two weeks after the camp ends.
