Join us on Wednesdays for this new ceramics class with our Artist and Residence Jose Galvan Martinez. Altered Forms will begin with 2 weeks of wheel throwing and end with 2 weeks of handbuilding, offering the best of both ceramic methods. Students will create their own unique ceramic work in this 4-week class. No experience necessary. This class is for adults 16+.
Get inspired with a variety of surface design techniques that can elevate your work and push it into new territory. In this class, you will learn how to add depth and dimension to your surfaces using sgraffito, inlay, water etching, wax resist, liquid latex, tape, stencils, underglazes, oxides, and more.
