Join us at LUX on Friday, August 7 from 5-8 pm for our First Friday Opening Reception – an evening of art and community. Explore new exhibitions across our galleries, meet artists and fellow art lovers, enjoy refreshments and conversation.

Happenings this month include: 

• Juror Janine Wong discusses her selections and award winners from Surface Impressions: Coloratura. Janine will be at the LUX from 5-6:30 pm, then Constellation Studios from 7-9 pm.
• One print from Surface Impressions: Coloratura will be selected for acquisition by the Sheldon Museum of Art.
• Live Figure Drawing Demo with Tom Meyers in the Community Gallery.
