Learn how to create your own watercolor paints from pigment to palette in this hands-on workshop. Students will mix custom colors using traditional materials while learning how different ingredients affect texture and performance, then test their paints through swatching and simple exercises before using them to create a small, expressive painting. This workshop emphasizes experimentation, discovery, and a deeper understanding of watercolor materials, and students will take home their custom paints to continue using after class. No experience necessary. All materials are provided. This class is for adults ages 16+.
