Program Description

Explore your voice through creative expression! Expressions of Art and Hope is a series of free art classes for individuals living with and beyond cancer. These classes are usually held the second Monday of each month in collaboration with CHI Health/St. Elizabeth and the LUX Center for the Arts. All participants must register individually. Classes take place at the LUX Center for the Arts from 6:00pm-8:00pm.

In this workshop, lead by LUX Artist in Residence Jewelya Coffey, participants will design and carve linoleum blocks and print their image on bandanas. Participants are encouraged to bring their own design, and the instructor will have several options to choose from. Designs will be printed in one color. All materials will be provided. This workshop is for adults 16+.

Pre-registration required.
