Experiment with a variety of materials and discover how they can work together in one artwork. Over four weeks, students will explore tools such as alcohol-based markers, colored pencils, gouache, watercolor, impasto, Micron pens, and more, learning how each medium behaves on its own and in combination with others.

Artist in Residence Alex Renbarger will guide students through layering techniques, mark-making, and building compositions that take advantage of each material’s unique qualities. This class encourages play, experimentation, and finding new ways of working, making it a great fit for both beginners and experienced artists looking to expand their practice. No experience necessary. All materials are provided. This Class is for Adults aged 16+.
