Intermediate Needle Felting
Intermediate Needle Felting
Take your needle felting skills to the next level by learning how to build and work with armatures. This two-session workshop is designed for students with prior felting experience who are ready to create larger, more dynamic forms. Students will move from small, delicate forms to larger, more substantial pieces that fill your hand, allowing for bendable limbs, stronger structure, and more expressive poses.
Artist in Residence Alex Renbarger will demonstrate how to build armatures and layer wool effectively to create structure, stability, and detail. Students are encouraged to bring ideas for a creature or character, or develop one during class. No materials are required. All supplies are provided. This class is for Adults 16+
Pre-registration required.
NOTE: An art class or workshop running is contingent on a minimum of 3 participants being enrolled 48 hours prior to the scheduled class/workshop. Cancellation notices will be emailed, and you may respond with an alternate class/workshop choice or request a refund. You’re encouraged to invite a friend to ensure that your class/workshop runs.
