Learn the basics of needle felting by creating your own woodland creature. Artist in Residence Alex Renbarger will walk you through the entire process, from choosing your design to forming a simple circle-shaped base, and then adding any details you want to transform that base into a small animal by repeatedly stabbing different colors of wool into the form.  All materials are provided.  This Class is for students aged 12+

Using copper, brass, and sterling silver, participants will learn to shape, form and fuse metal. This class will cover basic fabrication methods and will teach students to saw, file, solder, pierce, texture, and finish their pieces.  Student will leave with several finished wearable jewelry pieces. All materials included. This class is for Adults 16+

In this introductory metalsmithing workshop, participants will work with Argentium silver—a bright, strong, highly tarnish-resistant, and hypoallergenic alternative to sterling—to design and create their own custom stacking rings and bangles. You’ll learn foundational metal fabrication techniques, including shaping, soldering, filing, sanding, and adding texture to your pieces. By the end of the session, each participant will leave with a couple of finished pieces, ready to wear and enjoy.  All materials are provided. This workshop is open to adults ages 16+.

Gouache, often referred to as a hybrid between watercolor and acrylic paint, is an exciting medium enjoyed by artists and illustrators alike.  This 4-week class, taught by Artist in Residence Alex Renbarger will introduce you to the fundamentals of working with gouache.  Beginners are welcome and more advanced students will have time to hone their skills.  All paint and materials are provided. This workshop is for Adults aged 16+.

This camp is for teens, age 12–15, who are ready to explore the art of jewelry design and create their own wearable masterpieces! Throughout the week, students will learn a variety of jewelry-making techniques, including wire wrapping, bead stringing, metal stamping, and working with clay. Campers will design and craft a range of accessories—such as bracelets, earrings, necklaces, keychains, and charms—while experimenting with different materials, colors, and styles. Along the way, teens will build skills in craftsmanship, creativity, and personal expression.
